Professional requirements and qualifications

• For screeners, KCAA requires recognised initial training and OJT records for first certification.

• Employer background checks, a valid police-clearance certificate and relevant medical/physical assessments form part of the process.

• The employer applies for certification on the candidate’s behalf. Recurrent training and recertification requirements continue after entry.
